The ColorReader / ColorReader PRO come with a quality control feature (QC-mode) that allows you to measure a color then measure another color to provide you with the Delta E (∆E), a numerical value that represents the distance between the colors. This is traditionally used to measure the final color against the sample to determine if the match is successful. If you are looking for the Delta E (∆E) between 2 colors then the ColorReader / ColorReader PRO can do this.

The ColorReader EZ does not have a QC-mode function.
