How to do multiple readings to find the average color value?
The ColorReader app offers the function fro Single reading of a flat, smooth matte, opaque surface and the option to take multiple readings to find the average color value.
Please learn how to take multiple readings:
Launch the ColorReader app and when you are on the main screen, you will see the option to choose between single measurements or multiple measurements on the main page of the app.
Select Multiple.
Now, perform the measurements you want to take, one after the other. These will be displayed in a new window, one below the other.
Once you have completed all the measurements for this comparison, click the “Calculate Average” button at the bottom.
Now, the result will be displayed: You will see 4 color fields. On the left side, you will see the measured color with the note “Calculated Average”.
Click on the info icon to see the color values of the Calculated Average in Lab, RGB, etc.
On the right side, you will see the 3 closest colors from the currently active color fans. Click on the color fields for more information.
